As I became an adult, I abhored what the game had become, basically ruleless. and  thugish. During a pickup game I was trying to guard a big guy, about 6&#039; 7&quot;.  His sole game was to intimidate and bully.  If you tried to guard him, he would slam into you as hard as he could and basically run you over.  And no one else called a foul or said a word about it.  After he bloodied my nose and broke my glasses, all I could say was &quot;I&#039;ve had it&quot;.  That was my last game.

The NBA game I loved has essentially became unwatchable.  I used to stay up to watch Larry, Magic, et al till all hours of the night and got so wound up, I never could get to sleep.  Now I am bored to tears and seldom watch it at all.</description>
